Top 100 Americans

You vote on your choice of top 3 Americans, they give them 4 points, 2 points, and 1 point accordingly to vote, then tally up top 100...kinda like the bad show with Matt Lauer on A&E a few months back...

I found it interesting what we think greatness is.

These are my top 3:

1) George Washington: Man that could have been King

2) Thomas Jefferson: Author of our country

3) Thomas Paine: Pragmatic, fighting spirit of country.

Oh, that Matt Lauer show was TERRIBLE! I saw previews of it at work. Elvis came perilously close to the top. Now, I think Elvis is the King, but he certainly isn't a Greatest American.

... in fact, I think Reagan got the top spot. I'll have to double-check that. I shudder at the thought!

My recent post talks to the A&E top 10...yep, Reagan was number 1...*shuddering*...maybe that is the insulin shock from all those jellybeans...
