BYOB...RSVP...

Congratulations GW, you are succeeding in fracturing the Republican Party. Anytime there is a chipping away of either of the two parties, it is always to my enjoyment. I have always been under the idea that we need bring more parties to the dance. To my chargin, any third party has fizzled out quickly...

Ross Perot, might have caused GHW Bush the election...Nader, might have caused Gore the election...probably not though in retrospect, GHW and Gore just disconnected from the people with arrogant elitism...

Libertarian party has been a huge disappointment, pinning down a platform from them is like asking an agnostic about god. Huh? What's a platform? We don't if a platform exists or not...

Socialist party...well, can't be viable and socialist in America...Socialism equates communism in America...

Independent party...*sigh* I remember John Anderson, and his crazy idea on gun control...Gun Control, that is just cuckoo in 1980...now, to be independent has no meaning, except you don't accept the two major parties...

Tax reform party...need more than one issue...and Republican call dibs on tax issues...

Communist party...*see Socialist party* above

Reform party...it was the Ross Perot party, and he could cry if he wants to....Jesse Ventura, well, you had a chance until you came out of the closet, people don't like their politicans quoting Marx...the party split, divided and now it is basically gone...

Green party...Ralph Nader Party...good for 1-2%...maybe even 4-5% in those liberal college towns...

I think if a third party is ever going to be viable it will have to use the Ross Perot formula(-Ross Perot)...a strong personality with lots of money and connections...

Who comes to mind? Oprah...worth billions...women like her, minorities like her, celebrities like her, she is very tv savvy obviously, religious people like her, but she isn't too religious to annoy secularists...

Anybody else come to mind?
